VAIL Cast Determine Which Is Yours When Multiple Show Up

 Determining Which VAIL Cast is Yours When Multiple Show Up In some environments, such as apartments, there may be multiple VAIL Casts that appear when you are ready to connect your VAIL Cast to your Wi-Fi. To determine which is yours, please complete the following steps. 

1)Unplug your VAIL Cast and follow the instructions on this video for connecting a VAIL Cast to your Wi-Fi https://youtu.be/uXYZdM-Usw4 If you are unsure of where to unplug the VAIL Cast in an apartment, it is usually in a utility closet and is a “brick” style power supply suchas ones on laptops.

2)When you get to the step that lists Setup New Airplay Speaker take a screenshot of all the VAIL Casts listed.

3) Exit the Setup and plug your VAIL Cast in. Wait until the “CAST” light is pulsing red. Whenyou plug it in many lights will flash then the CAST button will be solid red and finally it willpulse red. This is when it is ready. This will take a few minutes.

4) Once again follow the steps in the video https://youtu.be/uXYZdM-Usw4

5) When you get to the step that lists Setup New Airplay Speaker once again take a screenshot.

6) The VAIL Cast listed in Step 5 that did not appear in Step 2 is YOUR VAIL Cast. You canselect that VAIL Cast following the steps in the video and it should pair with your Wi-Fi, andyou will be able to use it.
